The third chapter of the “MUMAC Academy Hands On” project using Faema President.
The “MUMAC Academy Hands On” project, a programme of educational and interactive activities involving Gruppo Cimbali products, is continuing with a series of events dedicated to Faema President. The course analyses the product from the barista’s perspective and shows how, thanks to the ergonomics and features of President, we can organise an effective workflow and always offer a high-quality product.
The course covers the machine from a number of different perspectives. Starting with a focus on the product’s design, which reinterprets a classic 1960s icon, and on available customisation options, it then discusses extraction with President GTi. In particular, there will be an explanation of the GTi thermal system through extractions with different temperatures and settings, the advantages of blooming and the correct use of pre-infusion. There will also be a discussion of President’s ergonomics: how can we use the machine as effectively as possible to speed up our service, make it more efficient and always offer an excellent product?
There will also be a hands-on part to give a practical demonstration of the topics covered during the training session.
The online training session focused on President is free and open to everyone. It is scheduled for 28 April 2021 from 9 am to 11 am (CEST) on Microsoft Teams and will be held in English.
